Contraindications

Are there any contraindications to the consumption of the Chaga mushroom?

Given that a lot of people take some medication, it is important to be aware of the possible interactions with some of them.

Never consume any Chaga mushroom if you are taking anticoagulant drugs or if you just had a transplant and are under an after transplant treatment. The Chaga mushroom intensifies the effects of the anticoagulant medication such as aspirin, warfarin, cyclosporine, etc ... Some natural supplements also have an anticoagulant effect and it is thus important for you to check the effects of the supplements that you are taking.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.

This is the reason why we advise you to always consult your health physician before changing your diet or before any new use of supplements.
